Richard & Chandler's Wedding
Richard & Chandler’s Wedding was one of my all-time favorite design moments. When Chandler said she wanted “Old Hollywood Glam” and a super impactful aisle moment for their wedding at B.R. Cohn in Sonoma, I designed a 50 ft long ceremony aisle with black and white striped flooring, tons of florals by the wonderful team at San Francisco-based Nigella, and classic furniture from Bright Event Rentals.
Cocktail hour was held in the olive grove, and for dinner, we added soft draping to the main pergola and created a beautiful entrance with a guest favor & escort card wall designed by Shimmer & Stain to match Richard & Chandler’s invitation suite and printed items. We ordered mini bottles of olive oil, made from B.R. Cohn’s own grove as a nod to Sonoma that guests could enjoy at home.
You know I love a great dinner table. We ordered velvet linens from BBJ La Tavola, and place settings from Bright. Elaine Bell provided a beautiful meal, the menus and place-cards were by Shimmer & Stain, and lots more florals by Nigella.
After dinner, Elaine Bell provided a beautiful dessert bar, we had a champagne tower toast, and everyone danced under the stars on the patio overlooking the vines.
